Marina del Capo
We are located near the enchanting promontory of Capo Vaticano, a short distance from the lighthouse and only 10 km from Tropea: it is the stretch of coast that is called the coast of the gods.
The village rises directly on the sea, overlooking a small sandy bay interspersed with rocks.
Consisting of a series of masonry bungalows distributed along paths and stairways that slope, among the greenery, towards the sea, it retains a rustic look, which fits harmoniously between the Mediterranean scrub, tall trees, fig trees and fig bushes of india.
Suitable for an informal clientele, it offers very simple accommodation but with air conditioning, an enchanting and privileged view due to its proximity to the sea, a beautiful panoramic swimming pool, entertainment and a lot of tranquility.
Directly on the sea
It overlooks a small sandy beach that extends towards the rocks interspersed with a small natural swimming pool. The Mare Apartments, the common areas and the small square where the entertainment activities take place are located in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
Immediately above the area of the two swimming pools (one of which is low-level, suitable for children and those who cannot swim), placed in rows to rise, there are the apartments, first the two-room apartments 3 + 1 beds and then the three-room apartments 4 +1 beds.
Apartments
We have 50 apartments, furnished in an essential way, distributed in brick bungalows arranged in small rows sloping down towards the sea. They are all on the ground floor with independent entrance and shaded veranda equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining: almost everyone can see the sea! They have individually controlled air conditioning, equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower. In all types it is possible to add a bed in the living room or in the bedroom.
Animation
During the day, the team offers games on the beach and in the pool, muscle toning, sedentary and water polo tournaments, group swimming lessons. During the evening, themed parties, small shows and dances are offered in the square; children can take advantage of the mini-club for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon with assistance, while the first evening in the amphitheater is dedicated to them who are free to let loose in the baby dance.
Excursions territory
The promontory of Capo Vaticano is located right in front of the Aeolian Islands, which can be seen from the village on clear days. From the port of Tropea there are daily excursions even at night: the reception office will be able to give you all the information. You cannot miss a visit to the famous Lighthouse, which has indicated the route to sailors since 1870: along the promenade that leads to the lighthouse and the adjacent belvedere, you can find trattorias, pizzerias, shops selling typical Calabrian products. Just 10 km from the village, Tropea will amaze you with its hospitality, the streets full of life, the excellent restaurants to savor the local cuisine, its outdoor terraces.
Club Card
From 25 June to 10 September, payment of the club card is required, which includes beach service (1 umbrella and 2 deck chairs per apartment), use of the swimming pool, participation in all entertainment activities, evening entertainment, courses swimming and sedentary tournaments. The club card is also required, in reduced form, for children who can take advantage of the miniclub and activities dedicated to them.
Until 25 June and from 10 September the club card is required in reduced form because it only includes only the beach service and the use of the swimming pool (there will be no entertainment).
Apartments
Our solutions for your holidays
Two-room apartment 3+1 beds
Our two-room apartments consist of a living room with kitchenette and a low bed, a double bedroom, two bathrooms with shower, veranda equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining, independent air conditioning. In all of them it is possible to add the 4th bed in the living room or in the bedroom without supplements. They measure about 36 square meters.
Three-room apartment 4+1 beds
The three-room apartments consist of a living room with kitchenette, 2 bedrooms that can be both double or twin, a bathroom with shower, veranda equipped for outdoor dining, independent air conditioning. It is possible to add the 5th bed in the living room or in one of the bedrooms without supplements. They measure about 36 square meters.
Seaside Apartments
The seaside apartments are the most coveted, because they are really only 20 m from the sand! They are two-room or three-room apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms that can be both double or twin, bathroom with shower, equipped veranda, independent air conditioning. They can accommodate 4 or 5 people and even one only. But there are only 6, so you have to hurry!
OUR SERVICES
Out to dinner:
Adjacent to the village, on the beach, are the Pizzeria Arethusa Mare and the restaurant Peppino il pescatore, excellent for fish, both with take-away service.
Other services:
Snack bar, children's play area, parking areas. Minimarket with basic necessities in the fishing village 150 meters from the beach. Bus stop at 200 m.
Animation:
Small square with small theater for entertainment for shows, games, dance evenings, baby dance.
Panoramic swimming pool:
Swimming pool for adults with children's pool, equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds (subject to availability).
